G'day,
Photo Manager is reporting that none of my dive images can be found.
And yet, the files are on my C: drive (Windows 11) in the directory C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\lrb-2004\divelog\images\pictures\
This is also the file path Photo Manager has for all of the images.
I suspect it might be a permissions thing, but I haven't been able to work out what it is.
Although the pictures are known to Photo Manager, though it thinks they are missing, none of the images appear under the Media tab in the Logbook.
Can someone please point me to a solution for this?
Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Re: Photo Manager - Images Not Found
G'day,
Interestingly, Photo Manager was also reporting that all of the Country flag images were missing. Going through and deleting them, then re-adding them, fixed this issue. But that was for 13 countries, not 400+ pictures!
There were also a handful of City/Island, Dive Sites, Shops/Dive Centres, Trips/Vacations, and Certification images that Photo Manager was reporting as missing. Again, deleting them and re-adding them worked.
Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Are the pictures shown in photo manager? When you copy/paste an image path from photo manager into Windows Explorer address bar, does it open? When it's a permission problem, a security software is mostly the root of the problem. Try also to launch Diving Log as administrator.

Re: Photo Manager - Images Not Found
G'day,
The pictures that are showing as image not found, do not show in Photo Manager, or in the Logbook.
When I run Diving Log as Administrator, it behaves the same.
When I copy the image path into the File Explorer address bar, I get the error message, "Windows can't find 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\lrb-2004\divelog\images\pictures\6_2.jpg'. Check the spelling and try again.
I added four images that were present, but not known to the Logbook or Photo Manager. Those four images show in Photo Manager, and in the Logbook.
Best Regards, Lloyd Borrett.

Re: Photo Manager - Images Not Found
Can you copy and paste a full path from photo manager here to the forum from one image that works and one that's not? There must me a difference somewhere.

Re: Photo Manager - Images Not Found
G'day Sven,
That was it! I had two mistakes in the path names. Bugger!
I had actually sat down at the computer to check just that.
So, I made a copy of the Diving Log database file. Then, I opened the copy using Access. Made the path changes to all tables. Then, I saved it as an Access 2002-2003 Database. (I just hoped that was the correct option to use and not the Access 2000 option.)
Opened it in Diving Log, and all seems okay now.
Many thanks, Sven.

Re: Photo Manager - Images Not Found
Glad you found and fixed the problem! You can also use photo manager to easily batch edit all path names:
