Keeping sync versions updated

I have Diving Log on my Android phone and Windows computers (laptop and desktop). I use OneDrive to store the logbook files and for synchronization. However, if I forget to sync at the end of a session on any of the devices, I can lose track of changes I have made before I use the app on a different device. I do use the automatic backup function whenever the app closes. I don't think using the backup files is optimal, though, since the name of the file is updated with every new save. Is there any way to have a similar feature for the sync function, even if it is just a reminder to sync prior to closing the app? Does that already exist and I am missing it?

No sorry, there is no such function. But it is a good idea. I'll see if I can implement such a function.
