Fail in performing database maintenance

It always worked but today when I tried to make database maintenance the computer keeps running and I have to stop the program.

When I reopened the software the database seems intact with all the latest dives loaded.

Hi, what do you mean by "database maintenance"? The "Compress database" function in the file menu?
