Aqualung i330R + Apeks DSX Beta Test

Post by divinglog »

Hello everyone,

EDIT: these devices are now available in the latest version 6.0.30 and this beta is no longer needed.

We have a Windows beta version for downloading the Aqualung i330R and Apeks DSX dive computers. If you want to test it, please download this file and copy the content into the Diving Log 6.0 program folder.

Then you will find the DSX and Aqualung I330R in the downloader. Activate “Log Errors” in the advanced settings of the downloader and send us the error log afterwards.

Thank you,
Sven

I managed to sync the logs from the DSX computer. I was expecting so see the GPS coordinates of the dives. Is this supported ?

Aleks

Hello Aleks, not yet. Does the DXS support capturing GPS data of the dive site?

Yes. It is possible to manually record a GPS location with a timestamp. I guess it could then be automatically matched with the dive (by timestamp) and the name of the location added manually.

Does the location import into the offical app from the manufacturer?

EDIT: these devices are now available in the latest Android version 6.3 and this beta is no longer needed.

If you want to beta test the Android app, you can download an APK with the DSX and i330R downloader from here.
If you test it, please activate "Log Errors" and send me the resulting error log afterwards. Thank you!

I am trying to download dives from an APEX DSX. After multiple attempts I got a connection and downloaded some of the dives. Efforts to reconnect have failed. The DSX Bluetooth symbol and the windows Bluetooth device list both show the Bluetooth connecting and disconnecting about every 1-2 seconds. The DSX display is also cycling.

I'm running windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.26100 on a Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen3.
