"mass edit" equipment?

Post by Blizz »

I just broke a piece of a equipment and bought a replacement.
I figured I would like to keep track of the dives I used the (now broken) item.
Is there a way to mass update a filtered set of dives (used it when diving with my drysuit only, not wetsuit) and add this piece of equipment?
I just don't feel like manually editing a couple 100 dives.

Hi, sorry for the late reponse! You can use the logbook table editor to mass edit dives. The equipment used for a dive is stored in the column "Used Equip" and each item has a unique ID, separated by comma. You can edit one dive manually to find out the ID's and then copy/paste the values to each dive with the same equipment:

Copy the value, select all cells and paste the data. Let me know if you have any questions.

Unfortunately not all of these dives have the same "rest of the equipment" so it's not a copy/paste kind of thing.
I'd have to add the equipment ID for that one thing to all of them manually then.

But I'll manage anyway, thanks for the reply!
