Move program folder

Hi,
I would like to move DivingLog folder from Documents\Diving Log\ to Documents\MyPrivateFolder\Diving Logs

It is possible to perform this?

Hi

This is currently unfortunately not yet possible (it is planned). You can move the logbook file to any location, if you want.

Move the folder where you want and create a link from Documents\Diving Log to your new path.
I did it to move my "diving log" folder inside the OneDrive folder.

It is now possible to change the Diving Log documents folder. If you want, you can download this beta version and copy the content into the Diving Log 6.0 program folder. Then you can change the path in the menu File > Preferences > Folders:

Do you intend to add this "move program folder" function into the current version of Diving Log 6.0? If so, any idea of when. I rarely try beta software so I haven't installed this one, but this feature would be a nice one in the regular version.

OK, there's the problem. I am on version 6.0.19 because it's not updating properly. When I "check for updates" from the Help menu within Diving Log, it returns this message: No update available. You have the latest version 6.0.19 installed.

So I've never checked your website for the latest version. I'll download it from the website and I should now have this function.

In this case your security software is blocking Diving Log from accessing the internet. Just install the latest version from the website on top of your existing installation.
