Backup logs to network drive

I have my log file saved to a network NAS device and can open and save my primary log file to this location with no issue

but if I try to backup the logbook or setup my folder preference inside the logbook I cant select the network drive or manually type it in.

This is due to the functioning of the folder browser dialog used - it is not fully capable of browsing UNC paths.
To work around that, you should map the folder (or a parent) to a drive letter. In your screenshot I can see, you have already done that. IMHO, there is no better way.

In your screenshot it should be possible to select the Z:\ drive (Mikes Backup)
